Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-16 weeks
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); day/night rotating schedule available
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Acute Care Oncology Float Pool – Med/Surg Tele
• Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940 - $1990
• Self-scheduling: Enter your preferred schedule requests
• Orientation: First week Mon-Fri dayshift; five shifts of bedside orientation between weeks 2 and 3

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or higher level nursing experience required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travel nurse experience required
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or formal leader)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 318-bed comprehensive cancer center
• Float to Med/Surg Oncology units such as Bone Marrow Transplant, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, and Corrections Healthcare
• Implement infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols
• Operate GE telemetry monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, and other specialized clinical equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more
• Participate in self-scheduling and adapt to weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records system
