Details:
- Ten 24-hour shifts / month with full NNP coverage
- 3-FTE Neonatologists and 5 NNPs
- Physicians provide on-site coverage during patient rounds
- Procedures: NRP; Intubation; Umbilical Lines; Ventilator Management; Total Body Cooling; Chest Tube Placement
Department Overview:
- 24/7 NNP Support
- Level III 22-bed NICU with an ADC of 8-10.
- Provide services to patients as low as 23 weeks EGA
- Total Body Cooling with continuous video EEG monitoring (read remotely) and HFOV
- Provide transport services to 3 other birthing hospitals
- Academic center with opportunities to participate in internal medicine and family medicine residency programs, and the Medical College of GA.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neonatology
- Ideal candidates are congenial, hard-working, dependable, Spanish speaking, and wish to sustain and continue to grow in neonatology care
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Commitment to quality, patient safety, and overall excellence in evidence-based clinical care.
