JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a fellowship-trained, BE/BC vascular surgeon to join a well-established vascular program. This position allows you to work closely with our current vascular surgeon and contribute to expanding our services in the local and neighboring communities. The ideal candidate will benefit from an underutilized cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography lab, a non-invasive vascular lab, a 64-slice CT scanner, a Center for Wound Healing with two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, an established Vein Clinic, and a robust regional dialysis network. HOSPITAL:This independent acute care community hospital is the sole community provider in the area and nearly every specialty of medicine and surgery is represented by the active medical staff. Services include advanced imaging with PET/CT, MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear medicine, and cardiac catheterization lab doing PCI without open heart backup. Other specialty services include a Wound Care Center, Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center, inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, outpatient Human Motion Institute, comprehensive sleep disorders lab, advanced neurodiagnostics lab, community dialysis center, weight management and bariatric surgery program, and an intensivist program.
