A Colorado-based Level 1 Trauma facility is seeking urgent locum ENT call coverage beginning as early as December 15, 2025. This role is strictly 24-hour call coverage, supporting inpatient ENT needs in a high-acuity environment. This is an excellent short-term and ongoing opportunity for a Board-Certified ENT physician able to support a busy trauma setting.

Schedule & Coverage Requirements

Call Schedule:

• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m.)

• Initial coverage dates:

  • December , 2025

• Ongoing:

  • Up to two weekends per month pending approval

No rounding required.

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

• Standard Otolaryngology / ENT call

• Inpatient-only coverage

• Trauma Level 1 environment

• No clinic responsibilities

• No support staff during call

• Anesthesia support available

EMR: Epic (training required prior to start)

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery

• Active CO license or IMLC LOQ in hand at submission

• Active BLS

• Active CO DEA preferred (transfer considered, but must be retained for duration of assignment)

• Availability for required dates

• Confirmation of number of shifts/month candidate can provide

• Clean malpractice & background
