Practice Highlights / Qualifications:- Board-eligible or board-certified in PM&R
- Provide care in a 30-bed unit serving acute rehabilitation patients with conditions including stroke, orthopaedic injuries, amputation, neurological disorders, and debility
- Join a large, multispecialty group practice with specialties such as primary care, occupational medicine, neurology, pulmonary medicine, physiatry & pain management, urology, and women s health
- Opportunity to provide consults in the hospital, if desired
- Collaborate with a highly trained therapy and nursing team
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
Located a short 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, this hospital is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, women's care and wound therapy. With a new tower that recently opened, the facility added an 18-bed MICU, a 30-bed Orthopedic Unit and a 30-bed Postpartum Unit. In addition, they opened a brand new 25-bed Level III NICU, expanding the hospital s capabilities to care for sick and premature infants.
