Job Description

Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a night shift position, focused on providing quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a general medical surgical unit. Candidates should be able and willing to float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a population with various medical diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD, and CHF.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Guide and supervise junior nursing staff, providing mentorship when needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Valid state nursing license or certification required at time of submission.
