- Unit: Perianesthesia - 4 Rhodes / Doan (PACU)
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift; 4x10-hour shifts/week (23:00 - 07:30)
- Weekend Requirements: 1-2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2040-$2090
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Unit Size: 20 beds; daily census 30-50
- Self-scheduling available
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or critical care RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required)
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Proficiency with telemetry, ventilators, and electronic charting systems
- Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate post-anesthesia care in a Level 1 Trauma PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patient recovery, including vital signs, pain management, and consciousness levels
- Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV and central lines
- Utilize advanced nursing skills: telemetry, ventilator management, dysrhythmia recognition, and care of ventilated patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems
- Participate in self-scheduling and adhere to weekend and holiday coverage requirements
