Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Bike Patrol in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a busy retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to respond quickly and professionally to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate conflict resolution skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, property damage, and/or other prohibited activities.
• Maintain visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and patrons.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with crowd management and/or access control as needed during peak hours or special events at the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by site protocols.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned equipment and adhere to all company and location-specific guidelines for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A current armed guard card or license is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for Texas only.
• You must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
