Adolescent Psych Registered Nurse

ScheduleShift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job DescriptionThis is an adolescent unit role. Candidates must be comfortable and highly experienced in adolescent psychiatric care. The position requires a start date of January 5th, no exceptions. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions while utilizing the nursing process to meet the complex needs of patients. Clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers (MHWs) will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure safe and therapeutic care delivery.
Responsibilities- Utilization of the nursing process to meet patient needs.
- Provide clinical supervision of MHWs.
- Engagement in multidisciplinary team discussions for patient care.
- Support patients in developing and maintaining sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues.
- 5 years of nursing experience as an RN required; inpatient psychiatric experience must be within the last 3 months.
- Recent adolescent experience (within the last 3 months) is mandatory.
- Adolescent Psych/Behavioral Health experience must be clearly listed on the resume.
- CPI certification is preferred (offered onsite if not active).
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
