Family Medicine Physician in North Carolina - Weekdays Only

Primary care coverage near Raleigh at a long-term care center; full-time schedule with minimal phone-only call.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Long-term care facility for adults with psychiatric illness and dementia
• Mix of adult and geriatric patients
• On-site support: pharmacy, psych, dental, rehab, and care team
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation

Schedule

• Weekdays onsite; no weekends required
• Weeknight call: 4:30 PM-8:00 AM by phone
• Weekend call: rotating 24-hour pager coverage from home

Cases and Procedures

• Daily rounding, admissions, discharges, care assessments
• Review labs, imaging, and medication plans
• Participate in care plan meetings and family updates

Requirements

• MD or DO with active North Carolina license
• BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine
• BLS and DEA required
• Geriatrics or long-term care experience preferred

Travel Accommodations

• Near Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
• Rate is all-inclusive (travel/lodging not billed separately)
