Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Maple Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or clients by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in detailed written reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
