About the Role:
This upscale venue combines a refined dining experience with a unique social atmosphere, catering to a discerning clientele. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in shaping the kitchen's culture, emphasizing positivity, energy, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the culinary team to deliver outstanding food quality and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with the Culinary Director on menu development, contributing to weekly and holiday specials.
- Manage food costs and inventory, demonstrating a strong understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to streamline kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a corporate culinary environment, with a track record of implementing effective systems and processes.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster a positive and energetic kitchen culture.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing food costs and inventory control.
- Creative flair, with the ability to contribute to menu development and special offerings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
