TransForce is seeking non-cdl drivers to support Local operations based in Independence, OH. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Non-CDL Driver Details
• Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6 am - 3 pm, home daily
• Pay: $21/hour plus overtime after 40 hours
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Plumbing and heating supplies
• Equipment: Box truck, automatic transmission
• Handling: Touch freight using a manual pallet jack and a hand truck
Non-CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: Box truck experience required
- Med card required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Non-CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck on local routes
- Transport plumbing and heating suppliesin accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including handling a pallet jack and hand truck
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including being able to lift up to 50lbs
