American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring an OK or compact license, ACLS, and BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in an Adult Emergency Department within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Care for adult emergency patients with diverse conditions from simple to complex
- No local candidates accepted per 50-mile radius rule
- Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient status, documenting interventions, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with physicians
- Expected to provide education and discharge planning for patients and families
- Must delegate and coordinate care with support staff
- Must be able to respond effectively to culturally diverse patient populations
- Return assignments after contract are subject to a mandatory six-month separation
- Active OK RN license or compact multistate RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
