Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• 3x12 and 4x10 evening/night rotation with shift times 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• ASAP start required
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Call required possibly 5-6 times per six-week period from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday as needed
• Weekend coverage required - 2 weekends per 6 weeks
• No weekends and no on-call otherwise
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off period allowed
• 2 years of experience required
• ICU experience required
• Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and Pre-post experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Care for patients of all ages: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-room unit with daily census of 45 patients
• Handle various surgical specialties including orthopedic, gynecological, vascular, ENT, endoscopy, colorectal, pediatric dental, breast, and neuro/spine procedures
• First-time travelers accepted
