OR RN – Illinois License: Active IL RN license required to submit Department: Operating Room Suites: 4 OR suites + 2 minor procedure rooms + OB C-section room Cases: 15–20 cases/day Requirements Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience: Prefer seasoned travelers with well-rounded OR experience 2–5 years OR experience (less considered if strong candidate) Cataract experience preferred, not required Scrubbing experience required (RN scrubbing a plus) Case Types General Surgery, Ortho (totals & minor), ENT, Urology, Gynecology, C-sections, Podiatry Unit & Scheduling EMR: Meditech Shifts: 9 or 10-hour shifts (rotate to cover late discharges) Scheduling: Posted 4 weeks in advance for a 6-week period; no self-scheduling Call: Weeknight: ~1 night/week Weekend: 24-hr call Friday night; Sat/Sun every 5th weekend Holidays: Call coverage required Call Response Time: 20 minutes Additional Details Floating: None Scrubs: Provided Orientation: 1–2 weeks with preceptor Note: Any prior employment at FHN Memorial must be disclosed for DNU check Date Entered: 01/19/2024
