Locum Tenens Job Opportunity for Physician - Radiology Mammography We are currently seeking a highly qualified Physician specializing in Radiology Mammography for a locum tenens position near West Friendship, Maryland. Schedule and Coverage Coverage: Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirement Shift Details: Standard night shifts, 8 hours each from 19:00 to 7:00 Block Schedules: Not required Contract Length: 5-6 weeks ASAP, with an additional term starting October 1st for 4-6 months Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Details Practice Setting: Radiology / Ultrasound / Sonography / X-Ray Average Daily Census: 20-25 patients Procedures: Diagnostic mammograms/ultrasounds: 20-25 per day Stereotactic/ultrasound-guided/MRI-guided procedures: 4-5 per day Breast MRI: 2-4 per day Screening mammograms: 20-25 per day Department Description: Mammography Department Special Procedures: Stereotactic and ultrasound/MRI-guided biopsies Skills Required: Must be MQSA certified COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement: Mandatory with no exemptions Job Requirements Board Certifications: Radiology Mammography (BC) State Licenses: Must be licensed in Maryland Certifications: MQSA certification required DEA: Required Experience: Prior experience in the relevant procedures and certifications Contract Details Length: 5-6 weeks starting ASAP, with a follow-up contract from October 1st for 4-6 months Shift Details: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday Coverage Needed: Full-time Work Environment Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center and Clinic/Private Practice Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive radiology mammography services, including diagnostic mammograms, breast MRIs, and various biopsy procedures This locum tenens position provides an excellent opportunity for experienced Radiology Mammography physicians to work in a structured, supportive environment near West Friendship, MD.
