We are seeking board-certified physicians to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to provide essential healthcare services to veterans while working on a PRN basis.
As a physician working in this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting veterans by conducting non-treatment exams in a structured and rewarding environment. You'll have the flexibility to choose between two coverage options: traveling to perform exams at leased facilities or scheduling exams within your own practice.
Job Details:- Schedule: PRN basis with flexible shifts, either half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
- Exam Types:
- Non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
- Separation health assessments
- Exams include:
- Primarily interview-based assessments
- Some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Evaluation of traumatic brain injuries
- No treatment or prescribing required.
- Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties:
- Neurology
- Neurosurgery
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- State license required in Wyoming.
- Proficient in using a goniometer.
- Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential.
- Skilled in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- Must own a personal laptop (no MACs).
- Quick credentialing and onboarding.
- DMA certification available (CME credits provided upon certification).
- Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
