Job Details:
• Work as the sole provider in the center, seeing approximately 20 patients per shift (up to 40 PPD possible) • Treat both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up) • Perform various urgent care procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures • Must be proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system • Requires strong independent decision-making abilities and excellent soft skills • Maintain good working relationships with support staff • No call requirements • Supervising physician provided for APPs (offsite) • Must complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding before first solo shift • Board certification required (MD/DO) or appropriate certification for NPs/PAs • Minimum of 12 months of urgent care or relevant experience required • Must hold an active North Carolina medical license • BLS certification required • Not eligible for travel reimbursement (mileage only) • May be asked to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of residence • Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
