Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with a KS or compact license and AHA BLS certification to work in a Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center environment.
Responsibilities
- Float between Med/Surg floors at a hospital including Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center units
- Work as part of the Float Pool staff with the possibility of floating to secondary campuses
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Must be willing to float across Med/Surg units and between campuses as assigned
- Candidates with MOAB De-Escalation Training and NIH Certification are preferred
- No minimum years of experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Local candidates are accepted but will be subject to a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and a US address required
- Two professional references are required
- Copy of valid Driver’s License must be provided
