Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner in Philadelphia, PA.
Requirements:
- Board Certified (ANCC or AANP)
- Active Pennsylvania NP license
- Minimum 5-7 years of NP experience (preferably in long-term care)
- At least 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
- BLS & DEA Certification required
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred
- NPs only - No PAs accepted
Position Details:
- Setting: primary care program providing care for geriatric patients
- Location: Philadelphia, PA
- Duration: 3-month initial assignment
- Schedule: Day shifts, no call required
- Duties:
- Primary medical management in collaboration with clinic physicians
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for participants
- Provide treatment for participant complaints and offer caregiver education
- Participate as a key member of the Interdisciplinary Team
- Oversee daily operations of the clinic
- Perform rounds in contracted nursing homes
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication with the care team
