Three distinct pathways are available, with flexibility to tailor schedules:

1. GI Hospitalist Model
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• Inpatient consults and endoscopy
• 24 hour call during working weeks (approximately 24 weeks/year)
• Optional outpatient endoscopy if desired
2. Hybrid Inpatient / Outpatient Model
• Primarily inpatient coverage
• Includes ambulatory endoscopy in a modern ASC
• Balanced clinical variety with predictable scheduling
3. Outpatient / Ambulatory Model
• 3-4 days of outpatient endoscopy
• 1-2 clinic days weekly
• Limited inpatient call coverage

Clinical Environment & Resources
• Coverage for a large, high acuity hospital with full specialty backup
• Dedicated endoscopy suite with 24/7 nursing and technical support
• 24/7 anesthesia availability for propofol
• Advanced endoscopy equipment available (ERCP/EUS welcomed but not required)
• Strong NP and MA support in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• EPIC EMR for inpatient/outpatient documentation and ProVation for procedures
• Infusion services for IBD and specialty therapies
