Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the mental health needs of our patients in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities will include monitoring patient vital signs, conducting observation rounds, and facilitating group therapy sessions focused on educational content.
Responsibilities- Perform observation rounds and monitor vital signs.
- Conduct glucometer checks and assist with patient searches.
- Implement verbal de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Engage in milieu management and safety protocols.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for patient education.
- Must have behavioral health experience.
- Certifications required: CPI and BLS.
- Advanced skills in manual blood pressure, glucometer, and EKG is required.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record documentation is essential.
