Senior Family Law Attorney Requirements & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar or New York Bar admission, in good standing
- 8+ years of experience practicing Family Law
- Proven trial experience
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and ethical conduct in sensitive Family Law matters
- Excellent negotiation and litigation skills
- Portable book of business preferred
Must Haves:
- Independently manage a full caseload of Family Law matters
- Provide representation in divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases
- Draft, analyze, and negotiate Family Law documents and agreements
- Represent clients in hearings and settlement negotiations
- Supervise and delegate work to paralegal support staff
- Maintain proactive, empathetic communication with clients
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented firm culture
Senior Family Law Attorney – Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in Estate Planning a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
