7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12 hour shifts, every other weekend required, holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs and developments. This role involves initiating assessments, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, and advocating for evidence-based practice care standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.
• Manage care of critically ill patients, including administration of complex critical care interventions.
• Document nursing care based on standards and patient acuity.
• Provide patient-centered care following professional nursing practice models.
• Participate in ongoing assessments to determine patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of strong Med ICU or ICU experience required.
• Experience with central lines, ventilators, and ICU cardiac telemetry.
• Must hold a BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
