A health services network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a great Outpatient opportunity with their Behavioral Health team in the Hudson Valley. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric care for clients receiving services through the Community Behavioral Health program.
About the Opportunity:- Setting: 100% outpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours:Standard business
- Call: No weekends
Responsibilities:The Psychiatristwill:
- Render psychiatric and neurological diagnostic services for clients, utilizing the contributions of mental health professionals
- Participatein the intake and screening process of patients
- Providemedication management
- Providereferral information to alternate placement facilities
- Reviewintake and treatment plans and signs the record as required by regulations
- Participatein in-service training
- Participatein information-educational community activities to further community knowledge in the detection and prevention of psychiatric disorders
- Act as a resource person for other staff in the areas of Medicine, Psychiatry, and Neurology
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Licensed to practice Psychiatry in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified
