Executive Assistant Requirements & Qualifications


  • 3–5 years of experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
  • Ability to travel to company locations as needed


Executive Assistant Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, or similar operational environments
  • Experience supporting multiple executives or departments
  • Project management or HR administrative experience


Executive Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Manage executive calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel logistics
  • Prioritize and coordinate daily activities to maximize executive productivity
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action items
  • Act as liaison between executive leadership and internal/external contacts
  • Draft, proofread, and edit professional communications, presentations, and reports
  • Assist with project coordination, document management, expense reports, and logistics
  • Plan and support company meetings, leadership events, and special projects
