ScheduleMonday to Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM; on-call required for overnights and weekends.
Job DescriptionThe Level 3 RN for Endoscopy/GI will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This includes pre-procedure sedation, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during recovery.
Responsibilities- Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
- Observing patient vital signs.
- Sedating patients before procedures.
- Recovering patients after procedures.
- Administering necessary medications to patients.
- Completing all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents.
- Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
- Providing assistance to doctors throughout the procedure.
- Administering IV drips.
- New York RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
- 2 years of previous experience in Endoscopy or GI
- Telemetry experience required
