Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic opportunity requiring 1+ years of recent experience and active MA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on ambulatory patient care
• 13-week contract assignment
• Work schedule includes 8-hour shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
• Clinic is closed on major holidays, but candidates must be available to work two out of three days after the winter holidays (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Must be able to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team
• Scrubs or business casual attire accepted
• Holiday coverage required for two of the three days following the major winter holidays
• Testing or modules may be required as part of onboarding
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate

Requirements

• Active MA Physical Therapy license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient or clinic care setting
• At least 18 months of total specialty experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Hospital experience required
• Excellent patient handling and transfer techniques required
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills, ability to be self-directed and flexible
• Two manager-level professional references with performance evaluations, one within the last 12 months and the other within 3 years; references cannot be from another traveler and one is preferred from the last travel assignment
