About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with CompHealth to find a qualified General Surgery PA in Maine!

Physician Assistant needed in Maine for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and Maine state license/be willing to obtain state licensure. Shifts will be Monday - Sunday, 6am - 5pm, schedule will vary. Preference to local candidate. Will see 8 patients per day, 5 ICU, 2-6 scheduled surgeries and patient population is adult cardiothoracic post-op. Must be comfortable with endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting with Terumo, pigtail/CT insertion, IABP removal, CT removal, hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive drip management, chest x-ray interpretation, and medical management of the cardiothoracic post-op patient population. Support staff includes 4 physicians, 5 mid-levels, plus support and clinic staff.
