The Opportunity
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide critical coverage at a high-performing Level III Trauma Center in Pell City, Alabama. Join a supportive, well-equipped team in a community hospital where your skills and leadership make an immediate impact.
Facility Overview
Hospital Type: Community Hospital – Level III Trauma
Annual ED Volume: 24,000 visits
ED Beds: 12 (2 Trauma Bays)
Patient Flow: ~2.7 patients per hour (includes shared APP visits)
Shift Times: 12-Hour Shifts | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
APP Coverage: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (12 hours daily)
EMR System: Cerner
Admitting Orders: Pre-completed templates by diagnosis
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification/Eligibility: ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, or ABIM accepted (must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible)
Licensure: Active Alabama Medical License & DEA
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (ATLS waived for ABEM physicians)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent emergency medicine experience post-residency
File Requirements: Clean file required for emergency privileges
