One of our Partners is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. This role focuses primarily on cardiac anesthesia cases requiring TEE proficiency, with additional general anesthesia coverage as needed. Provider pay ranks in the Top 15% nationally for cardiac anesthesiology locum tenens roles based on 2025 market data, with approved premium rates for overtime and holiday coverage.

Monday-Friday day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
One weekend call per month
One full week of call coverage required
High-acuity cardiac anesthesia program with TEE requirement
Average of 25-30 cardiac cases per month requiring TEE
Care team model with 26 CRNAs and 12 anesthesiologists
No trauma coverage
EMR: Cerner
Complimentary meals provided daily for clinicians
Providers must reside outside a 75-mile radius
Provide cardiac anesthesia services for CABG, valve replacement, aortic surgery, Watchman procedures, and advanced EP ablations
Perform and interpret intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Manage invasive monitoring including arterial lines, central venous catheters, and pulmonary artery catheters
Deliver anesthesia care for additional service lines including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB (C-sections), ENT, neuro, plastics, endoscopy, and radiology
Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage
Completion of an accredited cardiac anesthesia fellowship
TEE certification required
Board certified in anesthesiology
Proficiency with arterial lines, CVCs, PACs, and regional anesthesia
OB epidural experience helpful but not required
