ASSIGNMENT DETAILS -
- Dates of Coverage: 6-12 months approx.
- Reason for Coverage: LOA and departure
- Practice Setting: Hospital Based-all inpt-OR ICU/Rounding of patients in ER and floors
- Schedule (Shifts and Hours): M-F 6:45AM-5PM
- Call Schedule: nights and weekends- TBD- approx. 7-8 calls per month
- Call Ratio: 3 providers taking call
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: 2 cases per day
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level One
- Annual ER Volume: 85,000 per year
- Number of Operating Rooms: 3
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Description of Ancillary Staff: Full complement
- Adult and Geriatric
- Certification Requirement: BLS and ACLS
Procedures Required:
Descending Aortic Aneurysms, CABG, Off-Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization -Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery, Redo Coronary Revascularization, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, CoreValve System, Mitral Valve Repair
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS -
Board Certified- Required
BLS and ACLS- Required
CT license- Highly preferred- will give preference to providers with CT license.
