RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required dress code
• Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients in Progressive Critical Care Unit
• Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients
• Must be competent in medical and surgical populations care
• ACLS certification required
• Advanced hemodynamics experience including pressor usage per titration protocols
• Experience required with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcotic drips, thrombo-embolytics
• Must be competent with arterial lines, central venous pressure monitoring, external ventricular drains, orthopedic traction
• Infection prevention protocols adherence required
• Experience with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen dependent patients
• Handle respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience preferred
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
• Local candidates from specified ineligible counties not accepted
