RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel position
• 38-bed unit with 55 staff members
• Patient ratios: Call for 4:1, currently running some 5:1 due to staffing
• Work with IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-pap, C-pap (mostly at night), and glucometer
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Required certifications: NIH certification, BLS, and heavy med-surg background
• Preferred qualifications: ACLS and neuro experience
• Perform NIH/stroke assessments, neuro assessments, fall risk assessments, trach care, and feeding tube management
• Must be highly motivated team player with passion for neuro patient population
• Requires excellent critical thinking skills, ability to take initiative, and flexibility
• Must be engaged with patient experience tactics and able to multi-task effectively
• Position requires positive, energetic personality with ability to think on feet
