Full-Time or 3 Weeks/Month Location: near Cameron, ArizonaStart Date: June 23, 2025Contract Duration: 6 monthsSchedule: Monday???Friday, 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) + 1???2 weekends/month (on-call) Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a respected 268-bed medical center near Cameron, Arizona. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative cardiology team and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes while working in one of the Southwest???s most scenic locations. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care primarily to patients aged 60 and older Manage a daily census of 16???20 patients, ensuring detailed assessments and treatment plans Collaborate closely with two additional cardiologists for seamless care delivery Participate in scheduled call rotation, including 1???2 weekends per month Deliver care in a hospital-based setting with access to advanced diagnostic tools Use Cerner EHR (preferred experience, not required) Qualifications: Board Certification in Cardiology (required) ACLS Certification (required) Minimum 2 years of clinical cardiology experience Active Arizona medical license or willingness to obtain Familiarity with Cerner charting system (preferred) Must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine policies (exemptions accepted for valid medical/religious reasons) Work Environment: Serve at the Cardiovascular Institute within a state-of-the-art 268-bed facility Team-oriented atmosphere with experienced staff Supportive infrastructure and a patient-first care philosophy Why Work With Us?
