POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPENSATION The practice would strongly consider an orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in Total Joint, but would entertain orthopedic surgeons representing other orthopedic specialties. The opportunity consists of a two -year employment agreement leading to an opportunity for partnership at the beginning of the third year. This practice opportunity will be supported by a hospital income guarantee agreement ensuring the physician obtains fair market value compensation during the first two years. The physician will be offered a competitive base salary, plus a sign-on bonus, incentives, benefits, and malpractice. THE PRACTICE The hospital is a 344-bed community not-for-profit hospital serving the Central Alabama Region. The practice is located in a city that is home to 210,000 residents.
