This locum tenens position seeks a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care in an outpatient surgical center in Michigan. The role involves managing up to 20 surgical and 10 pain management cases daily across diverse patient demographics, from pediatric to geriatric. Candidates must hold an active Michigan license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and have experience in various surgical procedures including general, robotic, and orthopedic surgeries.

Position Overview: Start Date: December 1, 2024 Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Call/Weekend Requirements: None Rate: all-inclusive (includes malpractice and travel if applicable) Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30-60 days (temporary privileges available) Facility and Practice Highlights: Practice Setting: Outpatient surgical center Case Load: Surgical Cases: 7-20 cases per day (varied by type) Pain Management Cases: 0-10 per day Patient Demographics: Pediatric to geriatric (excluding neonates) Team Structure: Includes CRNAs, supervising MDAs, surgeons, RNs, scrub techs, and occasionally residents or first assists Facilities: Two locations with a total of eight operating rooms Required Skills and Experience: Board-certified CRNA (mandatory) Active Michigan license ACLS and BLS certifications Clean background Experience in the following procedures preferred: General and IV sedation for plastics General surgery Robotic surgery ENT Orthopedics Podiatry Additional Information: Local providers are highly preferred, though travel providers will be considered if costs fit the rate cap. Providers must adhere to a conversion fee cap based on total hours worked.
