NorthBay Health is seeking a Board Certified, Licensed Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley and Sacramento. More than 1,000 babies are born each year at NorthBay Medical Center that's more than 60,000 born since 1960 and it means we provide the most skilled and experienced staff in the region.We are a Baby-Friendly hospital and in case a baby needs extra support after birth, our level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed with board-certified neonatologists.At NorthBay, we are dedicated to one purpose: providing the best care for Mothers and babies, every step of the wayOur board-certified team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Professionals and support staff will provide a comprehensive evaluation and then employ a variety of treatments including medication, advanced diagnostic procedures and surgery to ensure a personalized care plan for the ultimate wellbeing of our adult and pediatric patients.Overview:

• Schedule: 4 days per week. Dedicated procedure and administrative time
• Call: No In-House call; from home
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Conduct maternal fetal medicine consultations and ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies. Outpatient mostly, inpatient as needed.
2. Utilize NorthBay's electronic medical record system for documentation of office visits and ultrasound reports.
3. Participate in morning inpatient board rounds via phone, collaborating with Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Baby unit, and Neonatologists for comprehensive patient care discussions (15-minute rounds).
4. Round on antepartum patients as necessary to provide timely and thorough care.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies.
6. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding prenatal care and pregnancy complications.
7. We should probably mention the on call for consultation regarding high risk patients? This is tricky though because we haven t defined or figured this part out yet.
8. Ability to do cerclages, amniocentesis, CVS, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Fellowship Trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state
• Proven experience in MFM procedures
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Total Compensation Range: $500,000- $580,000
