The group seeks to hire an associate to meet the growing medical needs of the Bakersfield community and a senior physician looking to scale back his practice. Given the close proximity to Los Angeles, the Bakersfield population continues to grow due to the migration of Californians looking for a lower cost of living and less hectic lifestyle. The group covers 6 hospitals and call is 1:4 on weekends, as the senior physician will scale back.The practice is offering a two year salary guarantee with an increase in year two. They have excellent benefits, including a car allowance, 401k, medical and dental benefits, and malpractice. Additionally, they offer a partnership track of two years and have a low buy-in.Candidates must be BC in IM and either BC or BE in Nephrology. Proficiency in all aspects of clinical nephrology, strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a team oriented attitude are highly desired.
