Inpatient consult-only shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a), 7 consecutive shifts per assignment. Greenville, NC. Locum contract. - Board Certified in Neurology (BC required) - BLS certification - Experience with stroke/vascular neurology preferred - Comfortable as solo attending on shift with NP/PA support - Prior hospitalist/consult inpatient experience

LOCUMS Stroke Neurologist (Hospitalist) Needed in Greenville, NC An excellent facility in Greenville, NC is seeking a Stroke Neurologist BC in Neurology to provide coverage. Candidates with vascular neurology or experience treating stroke patients are preferred, but fellowship training is not required. BLS certification required. Inpatient consult only responsibilities (7a7p; 7p-7a considered as well). 7 consecutive shifts at a time needed. Admissions ??? none. Number providers on shifts - 1 Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in addition to attending Physician. Census for day/night shifts ??? consult doc; not admitting.
