The RN Charge Nurse in Long Term Care is responsible for providing and coordinating direct and indirect nursing care, ensuring compliance with care plans and facility standards. This role includes supervising nursing staff, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure excellent resident outcomes. Candidates must hold an active RN license and have experience in nursing, preferably with long-term care or supervisory duties.

- Provide and coordinate both direct and indirect nursing care, ensuring accurate assessments, timely interventions, and compliance with individualized care plans and facility standards
- Administer medications and treatments safely and on schedule, documenting all care activities, condition changes, and updates to medical and nursing plans.
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), promoting regulatory compliance, safety, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, preparing reports and ensuring all parties are informed of resident status changes
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
