De Soto, Kansas Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care Locum Tenens/PRN
Rhino Medical is leading the chage seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a leading occupational medicine and urgent care network in De Soto, KS.
We have an urgent PRN shift available on 12/24 - 12/25 — perfect for an experienced APP seeking last-minute holiday supplementary income!
Opportunity Details:
- Location: De Soto, KS
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens/ PRN
- Setting: Outpatient Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care Clinic
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Schedule: 12/24 -- 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Patient Population: Adults (employees, public safety, and occupational health)
- Daily Volume: 18–25 patients per day (mix of occupational health and urgent care)
- EMR: Proprietary, streamlined occupational health system
Clinical Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
- Perform DOT, pre-employment, and surveillance physical exams
- Conduct urgent care visits for minor illnesses and injuries
- Administer vaccinations and point-of-care testing
- Collaborate with an offsite supervising physician
- Document encounters accurately within EMR system
- Provide clear communication and follow-up care with patients and employers
Candidate Requirements:- Licensure: Active & unrestricted Kansas NP or PA license
- Certifications:
- DOT/FMCSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Occupational Health
- DEA: Active and unrestricted with South Carolina address
- Skills: Must be proficient in basic procedures (sutures, splints, wound care, etc.)
