The assignment features multiple scheduled blocks through April, making it an ideal fit for Physician Assistants with at least two years of experience in neurological surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clinical support in neurological surgery cases
• Conduct pre- and post-operative patient assessments
• Assist in surgical procedures as directed by attending surgeons
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document patient interactions using the Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• North Carolina license required
• Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) board certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system preferred
