Urban Partners Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead the execution of ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $3M to $10M. This full-time role requires on-site coordination of all project phases including subcontractor management, scheduling, inspections, and safety enforcement. You’ll play a key leadership role ensuring projects stay on track, meet specifications, and exceed quality expectations. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all phases of construction activities on-site from start to finish.
Schedule subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain project timelines.
Monitor daily progress and maintain jobsite logs and reporting.
Oversee quality control and ensure all work complies with specifications and codes.
Communicate and resolve issues related to RFIs, ASIs, and submittals.
Conduct and document safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety protocols.
Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and maintain site organization and cleanliness.
Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance issues promptly.
Perform final walkthroughs and punch list completion with ownership and project teams.
Potentially supervise multiple smaller job sites simultaneously.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including ground-up builds with civil/site work.
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain schedules.
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong references and history of stable employment (5+ years average tenure preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction documentation and ability to interpret blueprints.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to assigned project sites.
High school diploma or GED required.
