Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Yucca Valley, CA

Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)

Facility: Primary care

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on clinical care, including conducting physical exams and forming accurate assessments

• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic health issues

• Request and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory panels and imaging studies

• Coordinate referrals to specialists or advanced care providers when necessary

• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of patient encounters

• Counsel patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive health strategies

• Complete all clinical notes and related paperwork with accuracy and within required timeframes

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a family medicine setting (required)

• Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of California (required)

• Current DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start date)

• Valid CPR certification

• Comfortable using electronic medical records and general computer applications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision

• Exceptional interpersonal and patient communication skills
