Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Near KEYSTONE, NE Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Default Rate Type: On Call (Daily) Emergency/Temp Privileges: Yes Shift Type: 24Hour Job Details Schedule: 5 days per week every other week (Friday to Tuesday); 3-4 days of call availability and 1-2 of clinic work. Clinic hours: Monday through Friday 9 am 5 pm and Saturdays 9 am 12 pm. Providers need to be on-site during these hours and available to come into the ER within 30 minutes outside of clinic hours. Required Procedures: Intubating, suturing, lesion removal, chest tubes. Generally do not perform central lines. Setting: Small town, approximate population of 2,000 Duties: On-call covering the ER, inpatient floor, and clinic. Average of 3 ER patients per day, inpatient floor average daily census is 2.7, and clinic visits not to exceed 8 per day. On-call Provider not required to stay on-site outside of clinic hours but must be in the ER within 30 minutes if requested. Coverage includes Chief of Staff, Medical Director, and collaborating Physician roles. EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Clinical team available for support. e-ER and e-Hospitalist services through Avera available at all times for additional support. One provider (MD or APP) available, with three clinical staff typically working from 5 pm to about 8 am.
