The Social Worker MSW conducts behavioral health clinical assessments, develops post-hospital care plans, and provides therapeutic support to patients and their families in a hospital setting. The role requires a Master's degree in Social Work, relevant clinical licensure in Washington, and preferably experience with psychiatric hospitalization and substance use disorders. The position is part of Providence's healthcare team focused on comprehensive, patient-centered care in Everett, WA.
Description
Completes behavioral health clinical assessments to determine appropriate care plan and disposition, develops post hospital plans for patients, provides therapeutic support for patients and their families and assists other members of the treatment team in caring for patients with behavioral health needs.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social work or related field of study.
- Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License or
- Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in social work and crisis interventions in a hospital or acute treatment setting.
- Experience with both involuntary and voluntary psychiatric hospitalization.
- Experience caring for patients with Substance Use Disorders

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
