Job Details:
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• Two years of nursing experience required
• Inpatient experience required
• NOT open to ER candidates
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact license required
• Current Basic Life Support and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients
