A Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon with spine fellowship training is sought for a trauma neurosurgery position at a Level 1 ACS verified trauma center near Gainesville, FL. The role involves trauma patient management, complex spine surgery, trauma consults, peer review participation, and program improvement in a hospital setting. Board certified / board eligible in neurosurgery
Spine fellowship trained and experience in trauma neurosurgery required and must be able to perform complex spine surgery
The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma neurosurgery (Hospital-based, Under the trauma department, Managing neuro trauma alerts, Trauma consults, Manage follow-up clinic, Participate in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds)
Share the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon with APP support.
Trauma program is the area s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the residency consortium.
